The Bullpen is a self contained cottage in the corner of a larger farmhouse courtyard property. The cottage sleeps 6 and has private garage parking, 3 bedrooms and outside terrace.
The front door leads directly into the large living room which has 2 sofas, TV, woodburner. The dining room table seats up to 6 guests. There is a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. This room leads out onto the terrace and down the back of the barn to the covered parking area.
Also on the ground floor is a bedroom with 2 single beds and a family bathroom with both shower and bath.
Upstairs are 2 further bedrooms: the master bedroom is a beautiful large room with oak beams. This room has a kingsize bed. Bedroom 3 has a double bed and there is a second bathroom on this floor with bath, wc and sink.
The Bullpen is located in quiet countryside but close to Gillingham town and 5 minutes from the train station. There is an excellent Waitrose nearby as well as an Asda, Aldi and Lidl.
Please be aware that this is a courtyard property in the grounds of a larger farmhouse and chickens and the dog roam free in the drive. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement (£26 fee for stays of 3-7 days) but they are not allowed on furniture or to be left at the property unsupervised.
The cottage is ideally situated for trips into the pretty town of Shaftesbury, wonderful walks in idyllic Dorset countryside and within easy striking distance of Stonehenge, Bath and the Jurassic coast.
